Billy Barry R.I.P.

Barryroe GAA members were saddened to learn of the passing of Billy Barry (Lislevane). On 5th October 2023, after feeding his horses, Billy, beloved husband of the late Margaret (Pidgie) (nee Cullinane) and much loved father of Ronnie (McKeogh), Jacinta (Collins), Cora (Kelly) and Patrick. Sadly missed by his loving family, sisters Nan O’Donovan, Tessy Hennessy, Eileen Reidy, brother Dan, sons in law Eamon, Fergus and Jonathan, daughter in law Siobhán, proud & loving grandad of Aishling, Maeve, Aoibhinn, Doireann, Liam, Breffini, Emer, Íde & Réiltín, Tiernan & Derval, brother in law John Reidy, sisters in law Bernie Barry, Eileen O’Connell & Teresa Heenan, nephews, nieces, relatives, kind neighbours & friends, especially his close friends in the horse world.
Lying in repose in Foley’s Funeral Home, Timoleague on Friday 6th October from 5pm followed by prayers at 7pm.
Requiem Mass on Saturday 7th at 2pm in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Barryroe followed by burial in Lislevane Cemetery.
