Ibane Gaels 1-15 Ballinora 2-10
Ibane U17s gained their first piece of silverware this season when they defeated Ballinora in the final of the Rebel Og West Division 1 Football League Final played in Bandon. Ibane started well and led by 0-03 to no score in the early stages. But Ballinora responded impressively and at half time 2-04 to 0-04. A more determined Ibane came out in the second half and gradually took control of the game. A Daniel Moloney goal being very influential and it was Daniel again who brought off the game changing save late on that helped Ibane to triumph 1-15 to 2-10.
