Paddy Whelton R.I.P.

Barryroe GAA members were saddened to learn of the passing of Paddy Whelton (Lislevane, Bandon). On 12th December 2023 peacefully surrounded by his family at Cork University Hospital. Dearly loved husband of Mary (Nee O'Brien), dear father of Neil and Daniel and dear brother of James, Eileen (McSweeney), Josie (O' Donovan) and the late Willie. Sadly missed and deeply regretted by his wife, sons, daughters-in-law Pamela and Siobhan, adored grandchildren, brother, sisters, sisters-in-law Maura, Veronica and Pauline, nieces, nephews, neighbours and large circle of friends.
Reposing at Holland's Funeral Home, Barryroe (P72FY88) Wednesday, 13th of December, from 4pm to 7pm followed by prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass Thursday, 14th of December, in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Barryroe (P72 T206) at 12 noon followed by burial afterwards at Lislevane Cemetery.
