Best of luck to Clonakilty Community College plus a code of ethics course

06 February, 2015

Danny writes,

Clonakilty Community College are playing in their first ever Corn Ui Mhuiri (Munster Colleges U18.5A Football) semi-final tomorrow, Saturday 7thFebruary v Pobalscoil Chorca Dhuibhne in Knocknagree at 1.30pm. The Kerry lads are going for 4-in-a-row in Munster and are reigning All-Ireland champions to boot so the Clon lads go into this game as underdogs. Both David Kiely and Jack Cahalane are involved from a Barryroe perspective so we wish them the best of luck on the day.

P.S. Do you know Dave who the last Barryroe man was to play in a Corn Ui Mhuire semi-final ?

Well it wasn't me. Despite Coláiste Chríost Rí, supplying 4/5 players to the the Cork Minor team that reached the All-Ireland final a couple of months later, as far as I remember, we did not even reach the knock-out stages.

WE WERE ALL TOO BUSY STUDYING FOR OUR LEAVING CERT.
