Trailing 2-04 to 0-06 at half-time, Barryroe mounted a strong second half comeback and inspired by a well taken goal from corner forward Ian Whelton drew level with time almost up. With the home side pushing for the winner, Castlehaven broke up the field and got the winning point with practically the last kick of what was an exciting and skilful game of football.
