On the final Sunday of the year, 28 teams set off from the Creamery Cross in pursuit of the Timmy Sheehy Cup for 2025. In the final tally, Mike Collins, Andrew and Flor McCarthy were crowned new champions with a score of 26 shots. In second place, Jamie Collins, Sean O'Flynn, and Zac Farrell were home in 27 shots.
Well done to all for taking part, and well done to this year's organiser, Mike Coleman and Norman Fleming and all who assisted. Thank you to John Dineen and Family for the hospitality afterwards in O'Neills Butlerstown.
Earlier in the day, the young boys and girls of Barryroe set off from Páirc Uí Mhurchú and headed to the National School to wield the camans in the underage poc fada. Thanks to all the mentors/parents for stewarding.
