May Sexton RIP

Barryroe GAA members were saddened to learn of the passing of May Sexton, Butlerstown North. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.
Sexton, May (née Barry) Butlerstown North, Barryroe, on January 15th 2026, peacefully after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Miah, loving mother of Michael and Margaret, mother-in-law to Finola and Marcus, adored grandmother of Siobhán, Deirdre, Claire and Eóin, great-grandmother of Cara, Muireann and Fionn, dear sister of Cathy and the late Michael and Eily.
Sadly missed by her loving family, grandsons-in-law Donall and Shane, Claire's fiancé Eamon, sisters-in-law Brigid (Barry), Bernie (Brickley) and Gretta (Crowley), nephews, nieces, the extended Barry and Sexton families, kind neighbours and friends.
Lying in repose in Holland's Funeral Home, Barryroe (P72 FY88) on Friday January 16th from 5pm to 8pm followed by prayers at 8pm. Requiem Mass Saturday January 17th in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Barryroe (P72 T206) at 12 noon. May's requiem mass will be live streamed, please use the following link https://barryroe.ie/. Burial afterwards in Lislevane Cemetery.
