Barryroe travelled to Ballinascarthy in the opening round of the Carbery Group Carbery Beara Football League Divsion 1 on Sunday morning, on the first day of March. After a tough contest in trying conditions the league points went to the home side after the encounter finished 1-11 to the hosts with Barryroe registering 0-13.
