Barryroe, (West Cork Semi-Final)., 19:30PM

The West Cork U16 Semi-Final  V Enniskeane proved to be  a one sided affair. Enniskeane opened the scoring with a point. Great run by Aoife Kearney whose shot was deflected and the resulting 45 was converted by Rachel Sheehy. Enniskeane continued their attack and scored a quick goal. Followed by a point by Rachel Sheehy. Barryroe's defense was under pressure all through the match which saw great saves from Caroline McCarthy on numerous occasions. Score at half time Barryroe 0-2 v Enniskeane 1-3.
2nd half was dominated by Enniskeane scoring point after point without a response from Barryroe. Unable to get beyond midfield Enniskeane scored 1-4 unanswered by Barryroe. One last attack saw Barryroe inch forward in hopes of a quick goal from Hannah Whelton but skimmed over the bar for a final point. One final point from Enniskeane ended the night on a scoreline of Barryroe 0-3 v Enniskeane 2-8. Enniskeane go on to play Newcestown in West Cork Final.
