Barryroe took on Kilbrittain/Timoleague in the third round robin game of the championship in Brinny on Monday, but came off second best. Barryroe played against the wind in the first half and turned around leading by 2-02 to 0-04, with Mary Cahalane and Síle Burns getting the goals.
The second half however, belonged to Kilbrittain/ Timoleague who upped the pace and they led by 12 points to 2-03 with a minute to go. A goal with the last puck of the game saw the Blues go under by 1-12 to 2-03. Síle Burns and Geraldine Mc Sweeney were the pick of an understrength Barryroe team.
