Paddy Madden
Paddy Madden was one of the former greats of the club. His playing career spanned four decades from the 1920s to the 1950s. In that time he also played for Timoleague and Clonakilty when the Barryroe club slipped out of existence for a period. He won junior hurling medals with Barryroe in 1933 and again twenty years later, in 1953, a year in which he was also club chairman.
