Ibane were defeated by Bal in the quarter-final of the B Championship played in Rosscarbery. This was a very low scoring game where every chance was vital . Ibane will be disappointed with the one's they missed . Ibane led by 0-03 to 0-00 early on and retired at half time leading 0-04 to 0-03. Scores were at a premium in the 2nd half and it was Bal who led by 0-06 to 0-05 with time almost up , Jack Cahalane levelled it with a great free however Bal converted an injury time free to secure the win.
